Copyright and Contracts for Writers – An Introduction – featuring guest speaker John Sailing, campaign leader of Equality, Diversity and Inclusion work for the Writers’ Guild of Great Britain (WGGB). This is a free online event, scheduled for 19th October 2022.
Exploring the skills gap – featuring keynote speaker Dr Christine Parker, a New Zealand filmmaker and Associate Professor from the University of Derby addressing neurodiversity and screenwriting. This event was hosted on MS Teams on 18th May 2022.
This workshop is industry-orientated with guest speaker Justin Edgar from 104 Films – UK’s leading production company and training provider focussing on disability. This event was hosted on zoom on 14th September 2022.
We held a bonus free masterclass online “Everyone Counts” on 9th July at 11am GMT, in which Terry Bamber our British Academy Innovation Fellowship Partner with Jones Bamber Productions, shares his story and practical tools how to get into the film industry.
We will be holding our main conference for this project on 19 July 2023 at De Montfort University.
